ART STUDIO IN THE ABANDONED SOVIET SHOP

Studijų metu Eglei teko nemažai keliauti su personalinėmis parodomis ir kūrybiniais projektais po pasaulį, kol nuotoliniu būdu tęsė magistrantūros studijas VDA. menininkė yra laimėjusi prestižinę Ary Stillman premiją, taip pat gavo stipendiją iš Lietuvos Kultūros Tarybos vykdyti meninei veiklai. Kultūros Ministras Eglei suteikė meno kūrėjos statusą. Ji surengė daugybę parodų ir performansų visame pasaulyje, dvejus metus stažavosi Berlyne, po to tris mėnesius Los Andžele ir Niujorke, apie metus – Meksiko mieste.
Šias patirtis ir savo išsilavinimą Eglė nori pritaikyti įkurdama kūrybinę erdvę savo gimtajame krašte neveltui.
„Norisi pasidalinti savo sukauptomis žiniomis su vietine bendruomene ir augančia jaunąja karta, įkvėpti ir suteikti motyvacijos tobulėti, skatinti siekti tikslų, savirealizacijos. Noriu savo pavyzdžiu užkrėsti ir kitus lietuvius esančius užsienyje, kad verta grįžti į Lietuvą ir imtis iniciatyvų savuose kraštuose, juk ne veltui čia gimėme. Tikiu, kad įdėjus pastangų, valios ir atkaklumo galima pasiekti neįtikėtinai gerų rezultatų“, – teigia meninkė.

During her studies, Egle had to travel around the world with personal exhibitions and creative projects, while she continued her master's studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts at a distance. The artist has won the prestigious Ary Stillman Award, as well as received a scholarship from the Lithuanian Culture Council for artistic activities. The Minister of Culture granted Egle the status of an artist. She has hosted numerous exhibitions and performances around the world, spent two years internships in Berlin, then three months in Los Angeles and New York, and about a year in Mexico City. Eglė wants to apply these experiences and her education by creating a creative space in her hometown Griškabūdis. “I want to share my accumulated knowledge with the local community and the growing younger generation, to inspire and motivate to improve, to promote goals and self-realization. I want to infect other Lithuanians abroad by my example, that it is worth returning to Lithuania and taking initiatives in our own countries, because it was not for nothing that we were born here. I believe that with effort, will and perseverance, incredibly good results can be achieved, ”says the artist.
